This is our largest venue and yet the shape of the room and the low ceilings offer the sort of intimate, friendly and exciting gig for which all our venues are famed. The critics say that 99 Club Leicester Square has "A great atmosphere... a feeling like you got if you were going to see a band in the early days of punk" - TimeoutOver the years this critically acclaimed venue has played host to nearly every major TV act working today and it's terrific reputation among comedians and audiences means in the last year alone it's seen special sets from: Russell Howard, Lee Mack, Stephen K. Amos, Andy Parsons, Jason Manford, Rich Hall, Lenny Henry and many more. With the very best in the current crop of live comedians playing at our regular shows, the critics agree this is always a great place to come for comedy. « less

It was my boyfriends birthday and we were interested in doing something a bit different that didn't involved spending lots of money in an expensive club. It was quite easy to find the club and before we entered we were given a flyer that reduced the usual £12 entry fee to £8. I really liked the ambience and music setting... More

Went to comedy show on Saturday night in Storm club and thoroughly enjoyed it. All 3 acts were good. Pleasantly surprised. More

I have seen Patrick Monahan on three occasions and have liked his shows each and every time. There is a lot of audience interaction/participation,and i particularly enjoyed his observational humour and quick witted repartee. Patrick is a very funny, talented and likeable performer who keeps the energy high.So much so, that on leaving, i felt that i'd been at a really good... More

Positives - Excellent comedy acts on our visit, Lorreta Maine, Paddy Lennox and Rich Hall. Compare Martin was highly hilarious. Intimate venue. View was perfect. Great value for money. Negatives -Venue smelt a bit like wc, then again it is a basement nightclub. Chairs were a bit uncomfortable. More

we had a good night and saw 3 seperate acts which were all great.. alcohol prices were surprisingly cheap for a venue in centre of london. don`t be fooled by the penthouse in the title, the bar is ok but not great and where you sit for the main comedy show is small and cramped.. however it was good, but... its the first time i have been to a comedy club but it will definately wont be the last:) we had a good laugh and i must say that 3 of the 4 acts was really good. Remember to keep your expectation low about the venue (its a cold basement) but thankfully the acts will keep you warm:) make sure... More

As a couple of other people have mentioned, some of the seating is terrible (for £15) with a poor view of the stage, very tight legroom, and absolutely freezing where the doors are open (between acts, which is quite a long time). The acts were very mixed, two were decent, and two were really poor. There are much better value... More

Good comedy show 8:30 - 11:00 with about 6-7 comedians including Milton Jones (although check for bookings). Basement venue, slightly disappointed that most seating reserved even though we pre booked. However, staff tried to please and accommodate us. Drinks approximately £5 a go (just for information) Good night out. More

Good night out. Good value. Does depend on who's appearing, but we have never been let down. Downside - it's dark and the seats are not that comfortable. The view from some also appeared restricted. Having said all that it's worth a visit, no question. More

As a regular at the 99 Club I have to say it's a terrific night. First went for a friend's birthday a few years ago and have been coming back ever since. Brilliant comics and lovely staff. More
