Great cast in this classic comedy from Ayckbourn. If you liked Abigail's Party by Mike Leigh, you'll enjoy this. Cringe-worthy, embarrassing, who needs friends like this? More

On this snowy and cold Saturday night this London audience clearly loved this black comedy - the setting a 70's tea party to cheer up a friend who recently has lost his fiancee .... The cast is overall very strong, with Katherine Parkinson (The IT Crowd) particularly good as the host of the tea party, and David Armand also really... More

This was the first play under the new Harold Pinter banner, and I went purely on his reputation - though this play was actually by one of his acolytes. The story was set in Chile, with a young woman who had been tortured and abused by the military, finally getting to meet by accident her tormentor some fifteen years later.... More

Myself and a friend went to see Harold Pinter's 'Betrayal' based on a last minute decision. I am not a great fun of Harold Pinter's plays, however I enjoyed this particular one. The director, Ian Rickson, did a very good job and I was particularly impressed with Douglas Henshall (who plays Jerry). Unfortunately, although we paid full price for tickets... More

We had seats in row 4 of the dress circle. There was so little legroom that I had to move to an empty aisle seat. It's disgraceful that the theatre crams so many rows into the dress circle. better to sit in the stalls. Childrens' Hour was a good production though. More

My daughter and I went to see Kiera Knightley in The Children's Hour (separate review). We had a dress circle belcony seat. We were informed it would have restricted viewing of one corner of the stage. I asked if this would affect this particular play much, was there much going on in the corner. I was told very little went... More

Due to its size, you cannot be far from the stage, so a good view is virtually guaranteed. The seats are comfortable, and leg room not bad. Greatly enjoyed 'Mrs Warren's Profession'. Felicity Kendal has great stage presence, and the whole thing was very well acted. If you like threatre, pay it a visit. More
