Holland Park is not London's largest park by a long way, but has so much more compressed into its environs. The two children's play areas are among the best and safest in the area. The beautifully manicured gardens and lawns are great to just sit down next to and muse, and there's plenty of grass to have a picnic on....

To relax, play, take beautiful pictures. To see a face of London without tourist( I think...!) the trees, birds, flowers and gardens are very well maintained!

one the nice from several Parks in London is Holland park where is exsisted in Kensington, and it's easy to get there in Holland park station by Central Line Tube.

Holland Park was perhaps unusual in that you were actually allowed to do things in it, like play ball games. Where most parks in London are perfectly manicured and have coinciding restrictions on just about everything, Holland has areas set aside for sports, and running around like you should in a park. The main oval area has signs surrounding it...

It was a few blocks from our hotel so we visited it twice. It is a really nice break from the hustle and bustle of city life, and the gardens and fountains are really calming. If you are in the area it is a very lovely place to visit.
