My 'must visit' place every time I am in London. Always mesmerizing, fresh, the permanent collection or the interesting exhibitions hosted, beautiful place in general . Even just to spend a morning or afternoon with a friend. More

Willing to admit we may have been " museum-ed out" by our fourth day. We went for the Dress/Gown Collection but were somehow expecting the garments to be the ones worn by Royals. Okay- not sure why we thought that but did and were in/out quickly when we realized we had mis understood. Lovely place! As noted, we may have... More

What a total experience this place was. There was a little bit of everything and we totally loved it, right down to the Dale Chihully piece in the entrance way. More

So much to explore in this museum - which is constantly being update - "new" medieval galleries, new displays of clothing. Wonderful and eclectic range of items displayed. Don't forget to look up by the ticket desk at the main entrance to see a spectacular glass sculpture. Special exhibitions always worth a look and some are free. Don't miss the... More

There are so many museums and galleries in London, which makes it really hard to decide what to visit and what to skip due to lack of time. Visit V&A first - it makes other galleries' skipping decisions much easier :-) More

This is the first museum I visited in London and so far it's certainly the most impressive!! As you walk in there is this gigantic dinesaur that makes you feel so small.... From there everything is well thought and placed in the right order. This museum is absolutely massive, no wonder there are so many cafe bars inside. This is... More

The V&A goes from strength, it is buzzing these days with events, lectures, exhibitions, courses, cafes and yet you can still wander off to the quieter, less popular exhibits and find out something you didnt know before. My sons even liked the porcelain galleries where no one was. On the other hand I want to a fab lecture by Sir... More
