The British conquered and/or plundered nearly all the world, and their greatest treasures reside at the British Museum. Plan a day here and you will not be disappointed. AND, the admission is free, although they admittedly ask for donations.

What a great museum. Wonderful displays of an assortment of works that feed the senses. The museum was packed with something for everyone and was very busy with school break families, but with the size of the building and rooms it was not uncomfortable. Loved it, would go again & again.
