I recently seen Matilda the musical there. Even though I got the last row of seats in the Stalls, the distance was not very far, so perfect as i could see everything and all the actors face expressions.
The acoustics were fab!

No matter what your age, or how serious or silly you are - the story of Matilda is known and loved by all. The cambridge theatre invites you to a wonderful nostalgic ride if you are, like me, older and remember how much Roald Dahl made you feel wonderful! The chalk boards littered around and the opportunity to draw yourself...

The Matilda Musical which we saw there was outstanding and very entertaining. I would recommend it to all ages.
The theatre building itself was fairly normal. The bar was ridiculously expensive although this is always the case. The toilets were not the nicest and the disabled access was mediocre.

Just brilliant. Lovely little theatre, and the most fantastic show. You have to go and see it even if you don't have kids - everything from the set to the dancing, the singing and the costumes is so well done, you will love it.

Went on a tuesday evening with a friend. I'm a longtime fan of the book and also loved the film, my friend was unfarmiliar with the story though. It was my first musical in London, and was really happy that I chose Matilda cause it turned out to be fab.

The Cambridge Theatre, like so many in the west end, is only as good as the show on at any given time.

Very nice - but big - theater. Current production (Matilda) is excellent. Staff was quite helpful, layout was easy to get around, nice shops and places to grab a bite or a drink all in the five or six corners which are on the intersection which houses the theater

We saw Matilda the Musical. We had very good seats in the stalls which were comfortable. It is a nice, small theatre, but can be a little cramped in the entry hall at half-time.

This really is must see theatre. Husband who had to be dragged along was transfixed. The children bought the CD and have been singing along to it ever since-admittedly can make long car journeys seem even longer on occasion - but still can't listen to 'when I grow up' without getting a lump in my throat- and I always thought...

Lovely theatre.Brilliant musical. We were in second back row of top tier and had no problem seeing the action. Children were outstanding and the adults didn't do too badly either! We booked at theatre the day before and were advised on which of the remaining tickets had best view of stage....it was the cheapest ones!
