There is a blue plaque on the wall of this house. I felt the most poignant part of this visit was to see how close it is to the place on the road where John Lennons Mother was killed. We visited Mendips, John Lennon's childhood home this weekend via the National Trust tour and I would recommend it most wholeheartedly. It was paired with a visit to 20 Forthlin Road, Paul McCartney's former home and the guides were excellent.
