Crosby Beach to the north of the city hosts 100 iron figures cast from the artists' own bodies then erected over a three-kilometer area. Anthony Gormley's simple yet remarkable installation is especially rewarding at sunset. « less

If you take a right turn and walk beside the Coastguard Station you can walk up the coast to Hightown and then Formby. Really nice walk with a nice pub for lunch in Hightown (you wouldn't believe how cheap The Hightown is) we... More

Was looking forward to going too much I think and it wasn't as intriguing as I thought it was going to be - I have seena few 'well taken' photos that make a few of them look nearly as close together as the terracotta soldiers but they are not - or not that I saw. More

On a sunny Wednesday afternoon we visited Crosby to see Another Place. The scupltures are great to look at and to wander around seeing the slight differences and the sheer scale of them is quite something. More
