I hadn't heard of Aira Force until my friend mentioned it. I saw pictures and thought it was worth a visit and am glad I did. The walk is not easy so make sure you have sensible shoes but its worth the trek. (If youre an ardent walker its probably easy but as a true 'townie' who is more used... More

An amazing place! Not a massive walker but really enjoyed the gentle walk to the main water fall. The waterfall itself is spectacular. All it costs is the £4 to park - value for money at its best, and if you don't want to pay the £4 you can walk there. Highly recommended!

Been here twice now - its a lovely walk and the waterfall is very pretty and worth the walk to it. Its an easy walk so accessible for anyone and definately worth a visit if you are in the Lake District.

aira force waterfall is well worth a visit for anyone staying in Ullswater, A good few steps so difficult for those with mobility problems but the nearby cafe provides a welcome retreat for those waiting for the more mobile to complete their walk

I have visited Aira Force many times, as it is a beautiful waterfall & easily accessible. Usually use as a warm up walk before doing something a bit more challenging, later in the day. Car park is just off the Ulswater lake road, although the fees are abit steep.

Easy parking on National Trust car park with tea rooms toilets and information. Short walk to the falls from the car park but you have to negotiate steps and slight inclines.

We took the children to see the waterfall in the easter holidays and the waterfalls were good but the walk along the pathway to see the waterfalls was excellent, the kids really enjoyed seeing all the wildlife. Would definately recommend for a visit with the children.

This is a lovely walk, the waterfall is beautiful. The walk is an easy one, there are a few steps, but I had no trouble getting to the top and back at 6 months pregnant. It is well worth a stop here. The walk to the waterfall is free, but the minimum parking fee you can pay is £4, so... More

visited aira force when in the lakes recently. i really wanted to see it as it was in both our guidebooks as one of the top 20 sights. the weather had been pretty miserable - raining and even snowing - but thankfully by the time we got to the park it abated a bit. we walked through the park to...
