I loved learning much more about the importance of trees, and the beauty of walking through them or sitting beneath. A glorious afternoon relaxing and thinking in this special nature reserve to be protected and enjoyed. More

We visited the Arboretum by chance in October when the trees were all changing colour. The magnificence of the trees and the different tones and colours were spectacular. There is a set walk around the site which is fairly flat but can be and was quite muddy - so wear waterproof shoes or wellingtons. It was disappointing that dogs were... More

This arboretum covers a huge area and you will need at least 4 hours to make the most of it. In wet weather then wellies are essential (obvious i guess) but some people can forget. Check out the weather forcasts before you go and try and get there during the autumn before we get any high winds as this can... More

Once away from the immediate parking area, you could get away from people easily! Best walk was dog free...... Restaurant good value for money. Entry system was very poor causing... More

This is a beautiful place to visit. We went here with our two children and friends who have there own three children. Everyone enjoyed a windy walk around here for a couple of hours, could have stayed longer but had to get back home. There's so much for chldren to do here, it's not just tree's and plants. There was... More
