Arctic Quest is the only company in the UK that gives you the chance to learn how to mush a team of dogs yourself. There is plenty of hands on time with the team as you become an integrual part of the team. We offer several packages including children and you can even choose to stay in our traditional Sami Tipi to fully experience life as a musher. This really is an experience of a lifetime and one not to be missed. « less

We've just returned from a weekend with Arctic Quest - spending a night in the Herder's Hut and enjoying the Full Musher's experience the following morning. The location is stunning - out in the countryside, but perfect for an escape from the city. There is a small local pub by the site but little else so if you don't have... More

We have just returned from a fantastic bank holiday trip to the Arctic Quest tipi and hut! 9 of us enjoyed a sunny, lazy afternoon and evening BBQ by the river. After a cozy night (lovely burners in both the tipi and the hut) we could not have hoped for a better bank holiday morning. We were introduced to the... More

We traveled on a stormy, freezing winter afternoon, arriving at the site as dusk fell. If you're car-less it's a bit of a hike from the station and the local cabs don't seem to like money...but it's all part of the experience ;) Upon getting to the hut/wigwam area I was a tad concerned my 6ft4 frame wouldn't fit the... Arctic Quest are committed to the dogs welfare and mushers confidence. They are extremely professional and very patient. My boys Nanook and Yuki relished the challenge of being part of a four dog team for the first time with the encouragement of Vicki and Chantelle. Thoroughly enjoyed the weekend and will be back next year.

Arctic Quest provided an absolutely briliant experience. Vicky, Chantelle and Ruby are extremely compassionate with novice working dogs and equally patient with humans! Their advice is invaluable and they really encourage you to get involved. I highly recommend anyone going and trying their husky rides. Thank you for an unforgettable experience.
