Anyone who has read E.F. Benson's Mapp and Lucia books will recognize the setting immediately as he described the town and its buildings very accurately. You can allmost hear the characters talking as you walk around the town.

Entertaining insights into Mapp and Lucia's world and the author and the Rye he knew. Who lived where etc. Includes interesting tour of the church and Benson connections there.
