The lanes are my favourite part of Brighton, all the quirkey shops are great and there are some really lovely pubs, one in particular (the name escapes me) where you can sit outside and watch the world pass by. More

Brighton has logically grown bigger over the years and it is lovely to get away from the newer areas to walk the old cobbles of the lanes. Plays havoc on the pushchair wheels. Plenty of places to eat to suit all pockets. More

Lots of nice little shops, lots and lots of jewellery, which is great for the wife, but that's why it gets 4* instead of 5* from me ... :-) More

Been a few years since i've been but they have taken over. I didnt need to buy a diamond ! Some nice coffee shops that helped and a few good clothing shops but its lost its magic for me . Sorry not going back More
