It's a dougnut. Made of metal. You can look at it and take a picture if you are so inclined, or you could just look at the photo of it on Trip Advisor and then do something else that Brighton has to offer.

We stumbled upon this by accident... it is giant and it is a doughnut, I wouldn't go out of my way to visit this though. If you are there then in the arches behind it there is a lovely bar that has some hilarious entertainment!

It is a sculpture in the shape of a huge doughnut. There is not too much to say about it really, but do take a look at the bits that have been cut out of the metal as they are the continents of the world. I wouldn't go out of my way to see the doughnut but if you are... More

Okay to visit if you're on Brighton seafront, but don't put yourself out as not terribly interesting. It's on the Banjo jetty to the west of the pier.

You can bang on it (it's hollow and makes noises,) throw pebbles at it (more noise) , climb on it , unsuccesfully , as it is very smooth and shiny , have your photo taken through the hole, work out the patterns on it . Any more ideas people , maybe use it as a musical instrument . It's situated... More

A beautiful piece of art in the middle of Brighton Beach. A must see landmark. I often visit the beach in the summer and always have to have a sneak peak at some of brightons hidden treasures.

It's a sculpture and part of the Brighhton sculture trail, made of Bronze and set upright on one of the short, concrete groynes (piers) which strut out from the beach into the sea. There are about 15 sculptures on the trail the link is here http://www.visitbrighton.com/xsdbimgs/Brighton%20Sculpture%20Trail.pdf The Donut itself is Big, about 2.5m high and looking through the hole in...
