Being a Dads Army fan this was my main reason for the visit. As the fire engine was away for repair I was a little disappointed in the Dads Army aspect of things. However, this place had many surprises. I knew they had a "miniature" railway, but no idea they also had (in the sheds) full size locomotives and carriages!!!... More

Spent a day here with the family; first time in about 7 years. We used vouchers to keep cost down but still over £20 for entry and rides for the three of us. The weather was great which made all the difference as there is not a huge amount to do apart from go on the galloping horses and various... More

We visited Bressingham Steam Museum today and had a very enjoyable day out. They had 3 trains running which kept our two 4 years olds happy, the gallopers which were a big hit and a few fairground attractions as well. There is also a Dads Army museum and lots of other locomotives to look at. The staff were friendly and... More

Bressingham has a fine collection of steam locomotives including a rare war time German monster. The gardens are very attractive, they can be see from the narrow gauge railway trip if you cannot walk so well. I found the café quiet expensive but the nearby garden centre has an excellent restaurant fairly priced. The museum is very interesting with many... More

We visited here very recently and was so fortunate for some beautiful weather. We visited with our twin 2 year olds and my husbands parents. When we got there 2 out of 3 lines were running, however they opened the third line for two journeys, which was a bonus as it was lovely to go on all 3. The gallopers... More

We visited Bressingham Steam Museum this weekend with the added bonus (for the children) of the Moshi Monsters visiting. We all had an absolutely fantastic day and the time flew by because there was so much to do. My son loves trains and had a great time riding on the steam trains around the grounds of Bressingham - there are... More

Steam trains , fabulous gardens , excellent food combine to put a smile on the face of everyone here. Best value is to buy a season ticket which allows unlimited visits and you should go in different seasons just to see the magnificent gardens , which are on a par with any I have seen anywhere in the world.

For over a year I sat miles away at home planning a special 3 generation family Easter holiday weekend. Let's go somewhere different I thought. From somewhere I'd picked up a glossy leaflet marketing Bressingham Steam Museum and Gardens. Perfect I thought....gardens for the grandparents, train exhibitions for us Dads, Blooms and Dad's Army memories for the mums and lots... More

When we planned our day to Bressingham with the family, we thought we'd found the perfect place, with the advertisement of adequate or good food and the warm welcomes, how could we say no? But upon arrival (after driving past the centre twice) we came across a completely different outcome. I suppose to some train enthusiasts it would have been... More

When we visited over the Easter weekend, the gardens were not open, yet we were charged the full entry price which got things off to a bad start. The Dad's Army museum was good but could have had more to it - unless you were a Dad's Army fan you might not realise that the street-scene used shops from the... More
