This was another return visit for me after many years, and it didn't disappoint. The entry fee was reasonable, all working models were working, the whole village was well maintained and the weather that day was beautiful. There were some nice humorous touches on a lot of the exhibits, and I really enjoyed my visit

I visited here as a kid and my memories were that it was a great place to visit, I wasn't wrong I love this place. The model scenes are amazing but the star of the piece are the wonderfully manicured plants. My 2 girls loved the scenes and wanted to take it all home. Give yourself 2 hours to get... More

Fantastic, well worth the money! The model village is well done and spacious and can be walked around easily without bumping into each other.

The model village had been decorated for Halloween when we went and there had been some new additions such as the olympics display since our last visit a year ago. Someone recommended we take the children to a themed event and it was quite good but unfortunately we were unable to visit in the evening when the spooky lighting etc... More

I visited the model visit as a child and loved it there, so when planning a weekend away with my boyfriend this was high on my list of places to visit, It was around £20 for us to get in including a guide book and in our opinion was definately worth the money! The attention to detail in the models... More

Well worth a visit to this village , the kids would live the excitement. Prices for food and beverages are not expensive too. You have plenty of parking across most locations

Went here with my parents (in their 50s) my husband and our three children (3 years and 16 month old twins), my mum is disabled and uses walking sticks and our twins were in a double pushchair. Firstly I was shocked at the price, when we paid no one advised us it would be difficult for mum mum and pushchairs,... More

May I express our regret at your experience, it is a pity you didn't make us aware of your concerns when you arrived and we could have helped more. We make no secret of the fact that the model village is not easy access and it is built in a steep valley. We publish this very clearly in our leaflet... More

I have been to Babbacombe a few times over the years and it never fails to impress me. The huge scale (excuse the pun) of the site and the comedic twist to the names of the business - Ava Sett hairdressers and Annie Seedballs the confectioners spring to mind - makes it all the more interesting. My three children all... More

Thank you for your kind review. We will investigate the dragon and the house on fire. As you highlight such intricate miniature mechanisms are sometimes prone to be temperamental (especially in very poor weather) though they should not have been switched off. Most of the animated features operate periodically, to preserve the mechanisms and to increase the impact when they... More

This is a very well laid out model village running down into a small valley. All the models are very well laid out, so there is a lot to see, but still, it only took a couple of hours. My only gripe is that I actually thought it was quite expensive, and you have to pay for parking on top... More

Thank you for your very kind review. This is just to highlight that we run the evening illuminations during school holidays which this year is: Easter, May half term, July to mid September (Mondays to Fridays), October half term (Halloween) and Winter Wonderland. So the lights will be back on Mondays to Fridays from 1st July. During the early part... More
