the center was great for the event and the facilities were amazing, it is just a shame the food at the evening events were not overly great, if it wasn't for that it would have been an amazing respect

The wave pool is quite an attraction apart from the amount of teenage couples "making out". Changing facilities etc very good. Had lunch with my 2 year old and could find nothing healthy on the kids menu to eat so we shared a quiche salad.
Swimming is a lot of fun but serious swimmers need to look elsewhere as this is more of a slide and wave type place. Good for kids, babies & toddlers. Dining here is average. Torbay Council constantly pour money into this place & I, for one, can't see why they bother as it loses money every year & for what?...

Went to the ERC for a deep and dine. Swimming pool and flume are ok and waves come on for 5 mins every 1/2 hour. Not really a place for a serious swimmer. Dining and food in the Bay Brasserie however were both very good and would recommend.
Wonderful pool with wave machine and flume-opportunity to dine if you so wished.Left car in car park got £1.50 off price of swim for so doing. Then walked into town.
I visited the Riviera Centre Torquay for the first time on Saturday 16 February for a dinner for 100 people. The venue was first class, well appointed and laid out perfectly.
The food and service was excellent and I and my party were very impressed throughout.
Preparing food for 100 people is not easy but it was cooked perfectly, served...

Fun in the waves but, and it is a huge but, it was far too cold in the pool. Baby and toddler both shivering. It is pretty old and dated but the staff were really friendly and helpful. Wouldn't go back. The baby pools were also too cold. Really didn't want to put our shoulders under the water.
Well sign posted and easy to get to. Very good facilities, staff most friendly and helpful. Food delicious
Nice large room decorated well for the function and good food. Enjoyable evening with good staff. Only complaint couldn't read programme as 'fairy' lights strung over ceiling not bright enough!
