The location of this property is fabulous. I have never seen such wonderful gardens, the different plant and tree species is incredible and the whole area so well managed. What a special place Coleton Fishacre is, I loved it. The gardens have such charm and have so much of interest and colour to enjoy. Beautiful setting, elegant art-deco house - the sort of property one enters and thinks 'Wow - I'd like to have stayed here'

Well worth the extra mile to get here. The house is so different from many National Trust houses in that it is light and airy with a really homely, family feel to it. Home once to the D'Oyley Carte's, the garden is stunning too.

We heard about this National Trust house after talking to one of the staff at Lanhydrock. She said we wont be disappointed and we certainly were impressed The directions from the lower ferry at Dartmouth were easy. Parking was close to the house and plan to spend at least a couple of hours to tour the house and gardens

Friendly welcome on arrival, delicious food and a very pleasant walk through the gardens to a view out to sea.
