I went along with a few friends to have a surf lesson with Dale. Best experience ever! I was so nervous beforehand but as soon I got to the surf school Dale put me right at ease. I truly enjoyed it and Dale even managed to get us all standing up on the board in the first lesson..I'm still amazed...

I went and took a lesson with a load of mates on a stag do, having no previous experience of surfing. Dale was a legend, and a very good teacher. Good value for money too

This was the second time that we have stayed here and we will definitely be going back! The guys at the hostel and surf school are easy going and make it an enjoyable stay. The hostel is very clean with good facilities, and is in a good location for the beach and the town. See you again soon!

I have been twice to stay and surf at the green base surf lodge and had 5 lessons over a week with the head coach. Excellent fun if there's a group of you going, lessons adapted to all levels no matter who's in the group. Highly recommend the surf school and hostel!

I had two lessons with Dale in the freezing March waters! I had very little experience surfing and he was a fantastic instructor, giving very clear steps to help me to stand and then giving constant encouragement and specific points to help me improve.
