This is the 3rd occasion we have visited with our now 3 1/2 year old son. With him being obsessed with all things trains we first went when he was aged two and found it to be a safe well run attraction which we all thoroughly enjoyed. This year was better still as he was able to do more and... More

A great fun place if you like trains and riding on lots of different types. Something for all the family to do and enjoy and lots of places to picnic as well. Time just ran out on us so we will have to go back again this year. More

Reading some of the recent reviews, we visited Lappa Valley unsure of what we would get for our money. We had a fantastic day with loads to do for all ages in a totally safe and secure environment that's allows little ones some freedom to explore without causing heart failure for parents. There is plenty to do following a great... More

We took our 2 year old grandaughter to the Lappa Valley Railway in April 2012. What a wonderful way to spend a day. Trains, swings playground with a station and a lovely cafe. Definately be going there again and again. More

We were really excited to go on the trains but it cost us over £30 for two adults and one 4 year old child which is really steap considering there really isnt much to do . You go on a train for 15 minuetes and reach a park with cafes where you can go on two further smaller trains one... More

Thanks for your comments but sorry you thought us overpriced as I beleive we offer good value for money and are all-inclusive. You say we charge as much as Crealy but a day's visit with us for 2 adults and a 4-year old costs £32.75 whereas Crealy's published charge is £44.85 - and importantly you will need to pay extra... Reading the reviews we decided to give it a go however i wish we hadnt as £12 an adult to jave a ride on 3 small trains, crazy golf was infact nothing more than a few holes in the grass. There is a cafe there thats it! As soon as we got there we gt the next train back a... More

I'm suprised and dissapointed that you felt so let down with your visit and disagree that we do not offer value for money. The crazy golf is by no means all grass-based and I wonder if you got as far as those holes with the funky animal motifs ? You also say 'there is a cafe there that's it" which... More

Great value for money, helpful and friendly staff, plenty of things to do, can take your own picnic and loads of places to eat, even in wet weather. Can not fault it for a day out. More

We popped in, over the bank holiday weekend, just planning for a couple of hours. We started at 10:30 and left at 4pm. I think I was more shattered than the children. There is 30 minutes on the train to get into the "park" and back again. We had taken sandwiches so cannot comment on the cafe. Coffee was £1.80... More
