If you are fed up with Cambridge bustle, come here. If you want to show visitors an English afternoon, come here. If you just want to eat a massive scone and lounge under apple blossom for an afternoon, come here. On a beautiful day having visited the church we happened upon this place - it was busy but everyone was very quiet - the garden has that effect so it was so relaxing. The Orchard is a delight for all the senses. It is imperative, of course, to eat scones, drink Lady Grey tea and read some Rupert Brooke. An Orchard day is always a good day! More
