Had a great trip along the college backs with friends during the bank holiday weekend on the Sunday. Had 2 boats as there were 6 of us so 3 girls in one and 3 boys in the other boat which we shared to make up 5 per boat. Very reasonably priced at £12.50 for chauffered trip, could have self hired... We were promised a lovely peaceful trip along the college backs , I've done it before with scudamores and found the tour rather sterile so wanted a more personal experience. These guys offer tours in smaller 5 seater boats, perfect for small groups and families. No complaints about the scenery, which is stunning, but our rather scruffy guide John seemed... More

These are 40 mins long, £12.50 per person. Punter was good - managed to miss most of the other punts and avoid collisions! The punts start on Garret Hostel Lane, which is off Trinity Lane - if you're not a local, take a map. The route is from the middle of the Cam to the Mill Pond, back down to... More

Away from the main tourist area is Trinity punts that offers both punt hire and chauffeured punting. Share a chaffeured punt for 12.50 each (up to 5 people) or book a whole punt to yourself. We had a punt to ourselves for gbp 40.It may be slightly more in busy periods. Lasted about 40-45 minutes. Interesting idiosyncratic talk on the... More

We decided we wanted a private tour for the 2 of us, which isn't normally what the chauffeurs want to do because they don't make as much money but Trinity Punts were more than happy to do it. The lady who took us on the tour gave us plenty of interesting information but was not constantly talking so we could... More

Punting along the Cam River was a fab experience. They have wonderful guides narrating to you the history of these colleges with so much humor that you actually enjoy a lesson of history, which might otherwise seem boring. You can also have close encounters with the ducks and swans that come to you looking for food. Surely, punting should be... More

Don't miss out on punting down the river! Our guide Ed was so informative, fun and....skilled! After much hesitation Ed convinced me to have a turn at steering the punt, proud to say i did not steer into a wall! What a great feeling lazing in the punt, enjoying a bottle of cider and taking in all the beautiful sights... More

On June 9, 2012, my husband, son, daughter-in-law and myself enjoyed a lovely time punting along the Cam River with, Freddie, as our guide. He was very informative and steered the punt, very well. I would definitely recommend Trinity Punts, to any and all, heading to Cambridge, England; you will not be disappointed. Thank you for the great experience!
