A beautiful sight sailing around the docks. To think that Cabot actually sailed across the Atlantic in the original of this.

Probably better viewed from the outside than going aboard. Did a harbour cruise and it wasn't anything special as it just used its engines to chug around. It does do sailing trips across the Bristol Channel, which are supposed to be well worth doing.

Very interesting, children as so many questions, the build quality of the build and up keep, a credit to the crew and owner, we have seen at Portishead, and Padstow, looks great at night

Out of season so didnt go on board but worth the walk along from the ss Great Britain to have a look. It is impressive this ship sailed to America and even more impressive the original did the trip over 500 years ago!

Everyone should visit the Matthew if she's in port, it is a fascinating insite into how early explorers travelled the world, you'll be amazed at how they managed it in such cramped conditions.

We were lucky enough to see this ship sail up the Avon river one day, while we were visiting "The Great Britain". We could not believe that this vessel sailed to Canada and back, to commemorate Cabot's voyage to North America.
