This zoo is way to expensive for what it is. The staff aren't helpful and there isn't even an elephant! You can go around the zoo in about half an hour and are then left wondering what to do with the rest of your day. Would not recommend to anyone and certainly won't be going back. More

This is my local Zoo and i visit it with my wife three or four times a year. It is not the biggest zoo and cannot compete with bigger venues and is therefore missing most of the larger animals. But the animals it does have always look to well carde for and the enclosires well maintained. The gardens are lovely... More

I have to say that Zoos are not my favourite place but the children love them. Bristol Zoo is OK but I think expensive. You also get quite a look when you ask to opt out of Gift Aid price. More

I had previously been to your zoo when i was a lot younger an remembered that i had a great time so i was eager to come again. When we arrived and saw the Lion's cage me and my friends... More

I hadn't visited the Zoo since I went on a school trip.....back in the 70's! and to be honest not much had changed from what I can remember. There's a pretty good selection of (mostly miserable looking) animals (Asiatic Lions, Gibbons, Okapi etc) but some of the enclosures need a good spruce up (especially the Penguins) and a lot of the... I visited Bristol Zoo on the Sunday of a Bank Holiday weekend and had a great time. There are plenty of all different types of animals to look at and loads of talks to keep the whole family entertained. One of my only issues was that there wasn't enough catering facilities to accommodate everybody. Many people bought their food but... More

We took our 22 month old for a visit recently and she absolutely loved it. It is great for small children it is not too big and plenty to see our daughter particularly liked the penguin and sea lion enclosure. The only Criticism I would have is the toilet are dated and the changing areas not great for toddlers with... More
