The butterflies flitting around, birds and vegatation was a wonderful escape. Very humid inside so dress lightly, if it is sunny outside where sunglasses inside, I was squinting a lot. From the moment you get in it is a nice enviroment, it small but wonderful to see all the butterflies and little animals, birds. We really enjoy every second. Worth the visit. Bring your camera!

“Pleasant way to spend an afternoon”

Loved all the varieties of butterflies, the vegetation, the viewing sites where you can watch the metamorphosis of the cocoon to butterfly, and all the little chicks wandering around.

“Lovely stop on the way to Butchart Gardens!”

I was delighted with our impulsive stop here after a rainy day in the Butchart gardens. It warmed us up... really felt like the tropics! There were fabulous photo ops, up close and personal with flamingos and butterflies etc.

Regular admission price is a little high ... a problem the Victoria tourism industry may have to address. But it was a unique and quality attraction and experience. Would definitely recommend this destination.

“Not worth the price unless you are a child or senior.”

Having been spoiled by the Butterfly Conservatory in Niagara Falls Ontario I was very disappointed by Victoria's version. Thankfully, my friend and I found a 25% discount for admission in a local attractions brochure. Otherwise, the cost would have been a rip off for what we experienced.
