Pretty basic transportation on open decked barge type ferry, sunny and beautiful both times I was there. Ride up the gravel beach a little hairy at the Eastport "terminal". Not sure what they do if you get stuck between the boat and the pavement? Beautiful views, the Quoddy loop (Free NB ferry to Deer Island, this ferry cheap to Campobello... More

One needs to study the schedule with regards to the various ferries aforementioned. I personally love the ferries frequently crossing the Saint John River way; there are numerous ferries. I find them romantic, indeed. There is a restaurant near the Eveleigh ferry point. More
