Overlooking Barkley Sound and the Broken Group Islands to the east and the open Pacific Ocean to the south and west, it offers spectacular shoreline panoramas and seaward vistas through ancient cedar and spruce-framed viewing platforms constructed on the best headlands along the route. « less

This trail goes for 40 km, is well gravelled and goes by the ocean with breathtaking views. No trip to Ucluelet id complete without walking this trail. Try it from the Black rock resort for a longer hike. Difficulty of the hike is a 3 on scale of 1 to 10.

A easy walking way, a little bit more like a park than a wilderness trail, but amazing views about the Pacific Coast

We did the 2.6km Lighthouse Loop in Ucluelet. Fantastic views all the way round - don't forget your camera. An easy walk not to be missed!

Many different views and you can walk for as long or as short as you want. Very well maintained and has many perches along the ocean.

Great trail that is fairly wide and well maintained. Great views of the coast line. Lots of "turnouts" with benches. No expensive hiking gear required!

The Wild Pacific Trail is stunning year round, with those long views out onto the Broken Group Islands and the Pacific. Clinging to the rocky shoreline about 30ft (10m) above the Ocean, it also is one of the most spectacular and safest Storm Watching locations on the Pacific Rim. I just wanted to pass-on something we realized on our guided... More

Several access points and trail in great shape. An eye open for bears and cougar especially with tiny kids and small pets is encouraged. Views and sounds of rough ocean are awe-inspiring. Brilliant trail and just enough for many people. Good gravel conditions. Fairly flat terrain - easily walked.

What a beautiful trail. We have visited in February and May. The waves crashing on the rocks is amazing. A must see.

There wasn't anything that I didn't like. Wonderful trail, not too difficult. It is easy to choose how far you would like to walk, and do parts of it.
