There is so much history in these small building; a church; a country school house and the main museum with corridors of information about farming and a special section on medical care at the turn of the century.

Fine exhibits detailing everything there is to know about PEI potatoes. Bonus: they have a cafe where we were able to purchase a loaf of freshly baked potato bread and delicious potato fudge!!

The place is a bit outdated (many of exhibits have data from more than 10 years ago) but worth visiting. It has a nice little cafe to try out PEI potato chips.

This museum in the town of O’Leary is well worth a visit. The Museum has three sections. The Potato Museum is fascinating and tells the history of potato growing starting in South America up to the highly sophisticated seed development going on world-wide to develop potatoes that will grow in many conditions to help feed the world’s growing population.

While vacationing in PEI in July we took a drive to O'Leary to visit the Potato Museum. Anything and everything you want to know about how potatoes came to be on PEI is there. Storyboards line the walls and also a video or two and lots of antique farm equipment on display as well. Very interesting and informative, a must...

First of all, for those with children, I don't think they will have much fun at this museum. It is more informative than interactive.
This museum has pretty much everything you'll ever want to know about potatoes. The history, the diseases, actual farming machinery, the products created, etc. If you actually read everything and watch all the videos, I'd say...
