The museum staff is well informed and the displays give an amazing perspective on the history of the area. It is also the Travel Information center and provides all the answers to your questions More

“Great history of the area in this Museum”

This Museum gives you a great look at the past years of Sooke. The logging industry was the main industry in times past and there are great pictures and information. More

“Local history in a nutshell”

Good place to visit. Quite a nice display for a small town museum. Lots of history and local folklore stored in it. If you are an avid hiker, it is the only place to buy forestry map with logging roads and gates, a must have for anyone wanting to explore local hills on foot or by car. More
