I only have one complaint about this park. The police do not want people hanging around this park after midnight so we couldn't play euchre into the morning hours. It is family oriented, well maintained, great view, large area so you can be beside the yauchts, beach, playground, under the canopy, outside all of these areas and under trees, well...

love the Mariposa Folk Festival every summer, great for picnics and walks. beautiful location. easy to get to and lots of parking
It's kind of dodgy at night, not very well lit, but during the day, there's always something going on.
an excellent place to take the grandchildren for a swim, large beach area roped off swimming area. Life guards keep a close eye on what's foinf on in the water
Clean beachfront, lifeguards on duty, restrooms and change rooms were clean, park was great for younger kid's, ice cream shack was yummy, would go again for sure. The sports fields there are great as well. Parking can sometimes be an issue

But the hidden jem is the walking path that is 2 km long that follow the edge of the lake. The views of the lake...

They have recently renovated this whole park and it is a wonderful destination for entire family. There is a splash pad, a beach, a wonderful walking trail, and ice cream and snack truck - what more could you want?
