The kids had fun climbing the rock wall and digging for fossils (that they were allowed to keep). A very nice gift shop as well. More

My kids had a blast but the cost of admission is crazy! In the end it really is just a glorified gift shop with expensive add on activities. Worth going once but I likely won't go again. More

this location is a fantastic experience for the kids! they get to sift for gems, dig for fossils and climb a rock wall. there is also a very realistic animatronic t-rex that can be a bit scary for the little guys, but a great afternoon either way. they get to keep a fossil and a container of minerals and crystals... This is not a museum, but more of a specialty store. There is a place for the kids to dig for fossils, so it has that going for it. Also a large live like moving dinosaur, which can scare some young children, but 5 and older will love it. Not a bad spot, as long as you aren't expecting the... More

As a family we visited this attraction before it was an attraction, four years ago when it was a store with an attached tent for fossil digging. It has grown since then! Now a museum of its own, Fossil World showcases many artifacts along with several activities, an iPad learning center, movie and colouring areas. When we arrived we were... More

The staff there is very knowledgeable. My son had a blast digging for fossils and climbing the rock climbing wall. The animated T-Rex is amazing. Totally life like...Can't say enough the whole experience was awesome. Thanks! More

I agree that this place is a tourist trap. The 10,000 square ft. that the owner is refering to is mostly the size of the overprized gift shop and the ice cream shop. I took my 3 year old son there and paid 12 dollars for him to participate in the Fossil Dig above the cost of admission. They have... More

We accidentally came across this place and it was one of the best parts of our trip. The kids got to go on a Fossil Dig as well as Mineral Mining and they climbed the Rock Wall. Not only did they learn about fossils and minerals but they had fun while doing it. We will definately be back! More
