We did a great whale watching tour with Eagle Eye Adventures in August 2011. We spent about 6 hours on the boot and saw lots of orcas (one even jumped out of the water!!), a humpback, seals and three black bears. You have enough time to enjoy the great landscape and the fascinating whales. I also really liked the zodiac... More

Travelling to the opening of Homalco First Nation's new Visitor Centre , I was lucky enough to hitch a ride with Eagle Eye Adventures from Campbell River on Vancouver Island, across the Johnston Straight, to Bute Inlet on the mainland of British Columbia. Wow, BC's west coast is beautiful. The Orford River area is home to some 40 resident grizzly... More

The trip was supposed to last 4 hours but our guide was so enthusiastic we... More

One of the most memorable 8 hours of my life. Our guide / boat driver, Nick, was not only incredibly knowledgable about the area, but had a real knack for finding wildlife whereever we went. Orca barely a minute out of the harbour! Eagles, Seals, Bears and even more Orca! Matched with the natural beauty of West Coast BC and... More
