Kicking Horse has attracted rave reviews after just seven seasons for its awesome vertical, deep powder and spectacular terrain mix. With an express gondola accessing over 4100 ft (1260m) of vertical, you’re bound to ski and ride an impressive feat of terrain comparable to only that of heli-skiing. Coupled with summer activities such as mountain biking, wildlife education, and alpine sightseeing, this is a place where the stories are almost too tall to believe.

We loved the snow the mountain and the short lift lines for the gondola. People were so friendly and welcoming. Overall a fantastic experience.

Great mountain and snow. If you are up for adventure, you can hike up or down, then ski! It is allowed as chairs do not cover all the mountain.

This place is awesome with so much to do and see. Hiking, horseback riding and scenic walking trails. The food at the Copperhorse was great!

I like to ski steep terrain so I really like Kicking Horse. The gondola takes 10 minutes to get to the top and you exit onto a narrow ridge. Then down through the bowls. If you ski all the way to the bottom, it will take you about 20 minutes. After a fresh snowfall, the powder in the bowls is...

The first time I skied Kicking Horse, I was blown away by the variety of runs to try out. The ski area is much bigger than it first appears. Now I've skied for 2 seasons here, and still haven't hit all the runs. One drawback is that the only way to the top of the mountain is via the gondola...
