“Not going back”

Took our dog there once, he came home with an injury, bit by another dog. Worse thing was she didnt say anything about it until we noticed it ourselves and said something. Everyone seems nice and all but wont be using their services again. Go elsewhere...Muskoka pet lodge further down Brunel Rd is a much better choice. More

Please accept my apology but I don't remember you as a client or this situation you wrote about. Of course dogs in play can get accidently snagged while running or playing by a branch or tooth. Returning from yet another Happy Tails vacation, our Wheaton Terrier is invigorated and happy. Tired and trim, she slept all the way home and for the next 2 days following our return. Expect your dog, especially a lab, to come home absolutely pooched. I think our black lab slept for a week because they can run and swim at will. More

Thank you for your review. It made me chuckle. Labs certainly do enjoy their holidays here, particularly the swimming. Your dog must have thoroughly enjoyed himself. Come evening here; after their full day of fresh air; chasing chippies, hunting frogs and swimming with other dogs, the only noise we hear are singing frogs and snoring dogs. : ) More

I like to think or my 2 dogs as 'real dogs'. They like people but really, they want to run wild and chase things. For them, Happy Tails couldn't be better. Loads of space for them to go nuts all day and crash at night in a warm room, comfy bed and a fire. All the staff are great but... More

“Sandy's Home Away From Home”
