It is a lovely place to visit ( but it can be rather muddy ). The restored houses and workshops, from 14th to early 20th Century, are a joy to walk around/into. I recognised one or two of the later ones from before they were moved to Singleton, and the plumber's workshop was just like my grandfather's, as were a... More

This place is amazing. Rescued buildings restored to their original state, and set up as they would have been in the era they were built, including their gardens. All within a beautiful setting. The shop has some lovely stuff too, all at reasonable prices. Only got a 4 rating as the food is not that good and I would eat... More

We went to Singleton open air museum last summer and we were all very impressed with the fantastic history and superb setting that this museum has. It is remarkable to think that so many buildings have been transported here from numerous areas around the UK and have been so professionally rebuilt for all to enjoy in one place. As an... More

This museum is well presented and dog & family friendly. The volunteers are particularly to be commended well informed and ready to give as much or as little information as you require. The buildings are dressed and presented to help history come to life. Put it on your to do list. More

Visited here on a very chilly March day but the atmosphere created by the lit fires in some of the old medieval properties really created a good impression of life in the past. Well worth a visit and the food at the cafe good value for money. More

An absolute must for anyone interested in architecture and social history. Really dedicated helpers and amongst them some gifted craftsmen showing off their skills. A lot of walking, but lots to see. Fascinating for young and old. More
