We spent the weekend in Champagne visiting champagne houses. Whilst we enjoyed Moet & Chandon, Pommery and Taittinger (all big houses). By far the best, most enjoyable, and most informative was Champagne Corbon in Avize. Thoroughly recommended. Great quality champagne too, we've even purchased some for our wedding! More

We loved visit, learn and taste at Domaine Corbon. We learn how to formulate our own champagne and taste an amazing "menu degustation" prepared by Mrs Agnés, la proprietaire. We strongly recommend! More

We arrived at Champagne Corbon in early January (after booking through the website and emailing Agnes). It was a birthday treat for my partner and due to low season only two of us were there. This did not matter to Agnes as she was warm, welcoming and enthusiastic from the moment we met her. She gave a presentation that really... More

Tucked away in the Grand Cru village of Avize is the house - and small winery - of M. Corbon and his daughter Agnes. Agnes describes them both as vignerons - they grow the grapes and make the still wine which with their artistry and expertise evolves into Champagne. I have visited several times and am always impressed. Not only... More

We had an excellent time not only drinking the Corbon champagne and learning about the process but also getting to know Agnes. She is a wonderful person to learn from. We wanted to bring home a case of champagne (including 3 from Corbon) and shared this with Agnes--- so she had her mom go to the store to purchase us... More

This was our first visit to the Corbon family vineyard and it was a real treat Agnes made us very welcome and the course on tasting and how the region produces and the controls that they work to was very well run. Of course the champagne is Fantasic and I would love to be able to purchase some of the... More

This year, I brought 3 friends with me to do the "Aromes et degustations" 2 hour course with Agnes. What a wonderful experience! I had been recommended this activity by a friend who is a champagne judge and who had just been back to visit Champagne Corbon in April. Everything he said about the total experience was fantastic and true... More

We have visited the Corbon Family vineyard for a number of years to buy their excellent Champagne. This year we took one of the tasting courses run by Agnes (who speaks perfect English) and enjoyed learning how to smell (surprisingly difficult) and how to taste champagne. Of course we bought Champagne to last us till our next visit. A trip... More

My husband and I strongly recommend the champagne tasting provided by Agnes at her family property outside of Epernay. It was highly informative and fun and the three champagnes we tasted were all delicious. A small estate run by Agnes and her father, she combines old family recipes and traditions with new Eco-friendly techniques. Agnes is extremely knowledgeable and speaks... More

I attended the 4hrs experience at Corbon with my husband and mother. We enjoyed Agnes's teaching very much and the smelling and tasting exercises were a great way to warm up to the wines. We learnt so much about Champagne making that we just wouldn't have been able to do anywhere else in the region. It really was a unique... More
