Besides our four nights at the viewing sight/cabin, where we actually got to see the aurora four time (1 magnificent, 1 good, 1 acceptable and 1 too cloudy), we had the "City Tour" and did one of the day trips. Everybody was extremely helpful and it was clear they wanted us to have a good time -- which we did.... More

This was our second visit to the Yukon & our second time booking with Northern Tales. Once again, we were not disappointed. Our 4 days in there just flew by. We had booked two different day tours in advance: a 30-minute Sightseeing Flying Excursion over Whitehorse & a tour to the Yukon Wildlife Reserve followed by a visit to Takhini... More

I have always been fascinated by light and color. The Yukon was an amazing experience and the combination of the tour on days one and four and then the two days at the cabin with Wolfgang and Renate was amazing. Sebastian, Torston and the staff were so helpful, concerned, positive and caring. I really liked the flexibility of the programming... More

My wife and i went on the "Aurora Borealis from a Cozy Cabin" trip, which we booked through the Northern Tales company. The company, and associated group who we dealt with for our cabin stay were all very helpful. Even though we went in the off season, the trip was great, and very much enjoyed. Our 'cozy cabin' was exactly... More

I really liked the experience of watching the lights (we were lucky to have seen them in the three days we were there) and the dog sledge tour. Everyone was really nice, and the facilities were perfect, so really, thank you guys! More

Northern Tales made this trip amazing - and none of us are fans of doing things with a tour group! From the very first contact with Northern Tales we were impressed. We came for the Northern Lights and had a fabulous display on the second night, but enjoyed everything we did. Each time we did a day tour, and also... More

This was a fantastic tour. From being met at the airport and checking in to our hotel. The wonderful tour around the town of Whitehorse and the snow sculptures. To the amazing sight of the town covered in snow, something we never see. But of course being out viewing the lights. Standing in the snow in the dark and watching... More

My wife surprised me for my 50 th b'day. What a great gift. It was getting dicey. We sat out for 3 hours watching the clouds cruise by. There was a roaring campfire with corresponding chat. We were just about ready to get on the bus with only glimmers of the lights when someone flipped a switch and half the... More

The tour was great. Our driver and animator, Gabriel, was super: knowledgeable, friendly, outgoing, engaged, and just all around nice. The other animator was also great (I just don't remember her name). Neither of them stopped working for a minute. While the lights were not particularly spectacular, the evening was perfect. Great to be outside and discover so many stars... More

Going to see the Northern Lights had been on my bucket list for a long time. Northern Tales provided usefull advice and impeccable one stop shop service when organizing our trip to the Yukon. Staying 3 nights gave us the opportunity to see the auroras, learn about the gold rush and enjoy a full day of dog sledding. Tips :... More
