The location of the Abbey is beautiful and the cheeses delicious. I have attended many functions where hosts have bought cheeses and wines from the Abbey.

Was a little out there but a great option on a rainy day. It was beautiful and on a nice clear day probably great photo ops. The actually shop had lots of delicious treats to buy - their cheeses are awesome!

We have taken friends and family who come for a visit, and they all enjoy the ride up to the Abbey, the walk around the grounds and last but not least a visit to the boutique. We always come away with at least 2 bags of their wonderful produce.

From Sherbrooke, the monastery is only a 30 minutes drive or so. Even if you're not a Catholic, you can enjoy the peaceful sprituality of the place. Visitors and come and go as they please and observe or pray at the celebration ceremonies throughout the day. The best part is the well-stocked gift shop where not only souvenir items are... More

The view as you are driving there is simply breathtaking. The monastery itself is in harmony with the environment, with the apple orchards nearby, and the hills and valleys. You able to visit inside the building also, but in silence, S.V.P. The chapel where the monks have their services is also open to the public, simply tranquil and soul up... More

The monastery is beautiful in an austere way. The feeling of calm and silence prevails. The floors are typical Benedictine mosaics. An interesting bilingual ( French & English) history of the monastery is nicely displayed on the walls of the main hallway. The Church is very austere. If you can be present during a service, the Gregorian chanting is awesome.... More

It is wonderful to come here in the summer. The atmosphere is peaceful inside and as you walk the grounds. Local food offered in the store is very good also.

Probably more than one service you can attend but at 11am prompt the monks will pray & chant, There is a small shop under the church which closes fifteen minutes before the service.

Visiting this place is more or less interesting. The shop is interesting though. If you really want to experience the place then rent a room for a night or two. This is quite an experience and a chance to have some quiet time.

Nice cheese too! The monastery is peaceful and beautiful, with a cool shop. If you are so inclined, you can attend mass too.
