For history buffs, this is one place in Quebec City that you will want to visit. With luck, the sun will be out, and you'll get good photos of the impressive (renovated) buildings of New France. More

It is a charming place, surrounded by old houses and nice shopps. It is one of the nicest places of Lower Town of Old Quebec. You feel there as you are in an old European town. More

Visit here while in Lower Town (Basse-Ville). Definitely charming and worth seeing while in the area. The architecture is outstanding and there is a loverly church to visit. Visited here during the Winter Carnival to escape the crowds in the Upper Town. More

This place has a lot of animation during winter time and summer time. I love the architecture of the buildings, it's a must see, once in a life time. More

All the buildings were historic stone structures. The church Notre-Dame-des-Victoires was worth seeing, especially the centuries' old ship model hanging from the ceiling in the nave. The Centre d'Interpretation de Place Royale is worth visiting to get an understanding of the history of the Place Royale. The Centre has the exhibits captioned in English. More
