Nice, a lot of shops, not too much traffic thanks to the one-way, good food, nice heritage info from 'Le Petit Laurier' and plenty of nice houses.
Laurier Ave is full of great places to eat and drink. It's a quiet street, thanks to being one-way, with an adorable bike path. I'm sure not everywhere on here is amazing but it's a great place to walk down and discover something new.
Shopping is great: various boutiques of different style. Also, one finds gourmet shops where foie gras, special twas and great coffees are easy to buy. Products from around the world are available. Stopping for a bite is a çust. Enjoy! Montreal is a safe city.
A great avenue in the Outremont section of Montreal. People speak English if they need to, but French is the lingua franca. The shops are fantastic! Or should I say fantastique!
