Who would have thought Montreal would have such a wonderful botanical garden. I have traveled all over the world and put this garden right up there with the best of them. The greenhouse was very well done and with the lilacs in bloom the colors and smells were fantastic. There is a metro stop within a 15 minute walk. Dont miss... More

The weather was stellar the day we were there and it was lovely to wander the grounds and learn more about different flowers, take in the beauty and enjoy nature. They had just opened the Insectarium when we were there and it was really cool to see all the bugs (under glass, of course, I wouldn't be cool with them... More

We were somewhat disappointed by the Botanical Gardens. The Japanese, Rose and Water Gardens were disappointing in comparison to other gardens we have seen. The Chinese Gardens were the best. Our daughter was also extremely disappointed as the Insectarium was not open the day we visited. According to all information we had seen previously it should have been open in... More

I had expected more of a botanical garden. The greenhouse was good, but not big enough. Other than that it was just a regular park full of kids. More

The greenhouse of the different climates and indigenous plants is the best Ive ever seen. (live in Tyler near Dallas, plenty of great gardens) Staff could be better informed and informed, minor. More

Great place to visit when you are in Montreal, plan to spend half a day there and a visit to the Olympic stadium as well. Pack a picnic lunch and be there early so you will have plenty of time to explore the grounds. Mondays are free but you are only limited to the gardens. More

The different garden themes and the names of the plants were very helpful. Beautiful arrangement and easy to get around. Even the bugs were pretty. More
