Having fell up on the chapel walking through old Montreal we went in to have a look ,very peaceful loved the boats .Didnot have the energy to climb to the viewing platform!! More

Beautifully restored church. Make the climb up to the viewing platform on top and you'll be rewarded with a magnificent view of the river, Old Montreal, and the Cirque du Soleil tents! Then climb all the way down to the crypts in the basement. Very interesting history down there. More

This nice chapel is full of excellent and remarkable frescos all around. We had not the possibility to visit the museum and the lookout (payment of a fee required), but the chapel definitely worth a visit. The surrounding area and the views of the facade of this building from Rue Bonsecours are really nice as well. More

I think this Chapel is a must to visit in Montreal. There is another little Chapel inside at the end and you can go there or go upstairs and see an amazing vew. Prepare to make no noise and meditate!!! More

This chapel has quite a history. the beautiful ceiling that you see was once covered by several coats of paint. Fortunately, the original painter hired to paint over the pictures covered the entire ceiling with a thick layer of burlap so that it was protected. in the 1990s this chapel was due for renovation because the ceiling pain was peeling...
