As of July, this place is very busy and fun. Most of Montreal's most popular festivals take place here. It's a nice place to hang out and enjoy some outdoor music, movies, etc.

They open late 11am. They are free (Now I understand why they charge so much tax at Quebec). They have 3 amazing buildings which are all interconnected. Love the glass staircases.

Since I luckily work only a few blocks away, I often come here when the weather is nice to sit outside and eat lunch. It's also a great place to come after work for drinks with friends. The synchronized fountains never fail to entertain me.

We Montrealers are proud of our arts centre. Check out the concert schedules and book something for when you come to visit. The acoustics in the new hall are sensational. The OSM orchestra world class.

Place des Arts features a wide variety of shows. Seating is comfortable and everyone has a decent view of the stage.
