The concept of going back in time and re-living the meetings and events that lead to Canada becoming a country is great. Some of the funniest moments perhaps might not be so funny to those not from Canada (slight inside jokes) but well worth the visit. You do wear a head set for the tour and should you have hearing... Very interesting and entertaining. Learn about PEI's role in Canadian history and have a chuckle while you learn.

This is a beautiful building and the guide who showed us around offered a brief but thorough (enough) history of the building and the events that took place. That we were there when the sky was a brilliant blue and the gentle breeze through the open door almost seemed to usher in the envoys that had met 150 years ago... More

Impressive displays used to share the history of PEI in a way that young and old will enjoy. Must see for visiters and islanders too.

We really enjoyed this chronological travel through history. A great place to receive an overview of the history of Confederation from 1864 right up to the addition of Nunavut.

Not much for the foreign traveler. The story and movie are very insignificant if you are not Canadian... do other things.

The sound equipment is showing its age. History shown in a novel (hokey?) way, but puts a good perspective to Confederation.

The movie describing the start of the Federation was interesting and a good preparation for viewing the upstairs rooms. It seemed to bring those days to life.

This exhibit was quite corny. We were provided with audio head phones to hear the exhibit as we walked through but the premise is that it`s a media telecast of the conference in the 1860`s when they had no media telecast. You had to stand on a certain area of the exhibit floor to hear what that part of the... More

Excellent displpay of history of our founding but the communication system would be a pain if it was real busy. Staff were helpful and glad to see us
