It is most unusual for the Lieutenant Governor to allow his house open to the public when he is living there. Although only done in July and August it is lovely to see inside and lots of people want to see where William and Kate stayed on their royal visit.

I only saw the house from the outside as I only walked in the grounds. The house looks unassuming and the garden is not very big but all the more beautiful. I continue to be impressed by the fact that the public is allowed near such sensitive buildings. Lovely!

It is an official residence of 1843. Recognize it for what is is, an old house needing a lot of care. Well presented; good interpreataion and so on

Haven't been in school for many years and had forgotten some Canadian history. The video and Staff helped jog the memory. Loved that the building had been restored.

This is well worth a visit. it is one of the most important historic sites in Canada as it was where the Fathers of Confederation met. A beautiful building in a beautiful location.

The guide was very friendly and enthusiastic. The tour was interesting and the building is in excellent condition. Wonderful to see some of the original furnishings and pictures. Stepped back in time and yet heard about the Queen and Prince William and Kate's visits. Not obvious that it's open. Check the info inside the gate by the gatehouse.
