I've been to St. Dunstan's twice and expect to return on my next trip to PEI. I love the angels guarding the huge, dark doors of the Basilica like bastions of faith. Our Lady of Hope looked like a new addition and is lovely! I especially love the detailed, ornate interior, filled with bas relief and statues in nooks and... More

This is a beautifully constructed and maintained church. The stained glass, stonework, wood working, acoustics - it's just amazing. The spires are one of the taller items within the city of Charlottetown, and it is situated on a very picturesque street with a view to the waterfront and Province House a half block away. More

I love this church. Not just for its architecture but for it feel. Unfoirtunately this time they were having a special mass so the sanctuary was closed for a short time. Beautiful, and part of the catholic culture in Charlottetown. More

This cathedral was significantly large for any city. It would be an awesome experience to go to a mass or wedding here. This landmark isn't too far off the beaten path and is within walking distance of the main shops in the area. The original cathedral on the property was regrettably ruined by fire and was successfully rebuilt. The architectural... More

Easily accessible on foot, right next to Province House on historic Great George St. (that the "fathers of confederation" walked up). No admission charged, you can donate whatever you think it's worth. More

We were surprised to find such a large church in a small city like Charlottetown. The basilica is located only a few blocks from the cruise ship pier. It has wonderful arches and a great hall. It is a Canadian historic site. More
