Our audience reflects our programming - The crowd at Lula is one of the most diverse, friendly, and multi-generational and multi-ethnic crowds in the city, what ties them together is love of music, having a good time, drinking, dinning and dancing!Friday and Saturday night Lula presents the city's top Salsa bands, Djs and Dance Instructors. The friendly beginner's lesson is great way to break the ice, no partner necessary. For a great night out the $49 package is recommend, it includes a 3 course dinner.Sunday's from 11-2 there's a Family Cuban Brunch with Lice Cuban music, a brunch Buffet and Dance Class. Sunday through Thursday evening you can experience anything from Chamber Music to Blues, Spoken Word to Tuvan Throat Singers, South Asian to Goth, check out ww.lula.ca for the schedule! « less

Nice Latin dance club, with a live band. Most patrons appeared to really know how to dance and that becomes obvious quite rapidly. If you’re into Latin music this is the place to be. The club is not very large and it is all designed around the lowered dance floor and bar, surrounded by two raised seating / dining areas,... More

The only reason we visited Toronto, driving from New Hampshire as part of our North America trip, was to visit Lula Lounge. If Lula had not existed, we'd have stayed in the USA – it really is that kind of unique place. So, things didn't get off to a great start as they had no record of our reservation when... More

It's hard to have one description for Lula Lounge, because it morphs depending on the show. I've seen the Gryphon Trio doing Chamber Music and it was perfect with the chandeliers, intimate setting and wonderful sound. aaaand I've seen a 14 piece band from Cuba with people dancing on their chairs and the crowd going wild, it was like being... Trully one the places that make Toronto great, Lula is home to many great musicians of all genres and it's the only place dedicated to live world music. You can see amazing Salsa, Brazilian, Jazz, Indian, African bands, local and international touring acts here. Some of the best concerts I've ever seen have been in here, it's an intimate place,... A fantastic destination for mostly Latin-inspired musical acts. Nice intimate stage, dance floor space. Menu is quite small, and can often not offer great value, unfortunately. Poor draught selection, reasonable wine selection. I wouldn't choose Lula as a dinner destination by any means, but as a music venue it excels. More

Just came back from Lula Lounge. My girl friend's camera was stolen from our table. When I mentioned this to the manager his response was " if you find your camera by any chance let us know". Unbelievable. More

Although it tends to get a little hot and crowed on Cuban night, live music and bands Make this place a hit spot in the area. More

Went to the lulu lounge on a school trip. We were promised the restaurant to ourselves, service in Spanish and good food. We got none of that. We arrived there was another school there. They had to set up tables for us because they "forgot" that we were coming. The food was buffet style, cold and disgusting. What really made... More
