We took the snow train in February, the trip was from 8:00 to 5:00, all day. The train seats are fairly comfortable and there is plenty of leg room. We saw some beautiful scenery. We brought our own lunch and snacks, all though food and beverages are available aboard the train. You will need to wait your turnto eat in... More

Most beautiful scenery. The journey was better than the destination. I was familiar with this trip in the fall with the beautiful colours. The winter trip after a huge snowfall was like living inside a Christmas card.

Took a 3 night trip with Lakeshore Tours of Bowmanville (Ontario). 2 nights in the Soo and 1 at Frankenmuth, Michigan. First, let me say that Lakeshore Tours does a great job and logistics were perfect. Trouble is, it's a long way by bus to the Soo (all day) then the next day a 3 1/2 hours train ride to... More

There were many oohs and ahhs around every corner. Beautiful When we arrived in the canyon, we had time to look around at all the natural beauty. Thoroughly enjoyed our trip, Ride back seemed a little longer.

Wonderful scenic trip. Amazing fall colors. We appreciated the commentary and information on upcoming attractions which accompanied the engineers ‘eye view’ on the flat screen monitors. The Canyon was very scenic. Could have spent more than the allocated 1.5 hrs in the canyon as the weather was mild and the colours breathtaking on October 1st.

This is a fun train raide. It is a full sized train, and you can go all the way to the end of the line and even stay at a lodge there. It is an all day experience so be prepared to be on the train for a while! Bring your cameras and if you can bring your own snacks/... More

We flew to Sault Ste Marie on Tuesday October 10, did the tour on Wednesday & returned to Toronto on Thursday. We got a package deal - hotel & tour for a reasonable price. The train trip was relaxing and interesting. The canyon was pristine & colouful. Meals on the train were reasonably priced and delicious.

The ride up is all very exciting because you are seeing everything for the first time. Then you get out and have a walk around to see the falls and lovely riverside areas. However, then you have to get back on the train for the long ride back which for some reason seems to take forever. Fortunately I swapped sides... More

We took the train ride to Agawa Canyon park on Monday, October 1, 2012. We hit the fall colors perfectly!!! The train ride is very nice, I would suggest the right side of the train and if going in the fall to make reservations as our train was booked the day we went. I went with my parents (ages 68... Advertising that October is not "peak season" for fall colorful leaf viewing, is very different to what they should have advertised : This is a winter trip. There are no colorful leaves not even one. If you wish to experience winter in early October come board this boring train, and you will pay a hefty price to boot.
