A must see when in Peterborough. They recently updated the exterior so it no longer looks like a warehouse.

Truly enjoyed this world class display. Canoes are part of Canadian history, especially in this area. This is history made passionate!. Loved the supporting signs, videos, etc. Learned so much.

This is a terribly boring museum! Not a lot to do. Staff wasn't overly friendly i would not go back!!!

I have a review on the Canadian Canoe Museum on Google Maps under Karate if it is still there amongst all the other wonderful reviews of this and many other locations in Peterborough. Prince Andrew of the United Kingdom is a trustee and visits here as often as he can visit Canada.

Way more than the outside look, this is a very interesting display. I like history and nostalgia and there is plenty. Can take 3 or 4 hours if you like these things, lots to see and imagine. Your old history class comes back.
