Clifton Hill is one of those places where one can't help but have fun. Whether it is the cheesy touristy stores and the attractions, the amusement park atmosphere, or simply the plentiful things to do, smiles and laughs will abound. I recommend at least a day, especially if you have young kids, to truly capture the feeling and do as...

We stayed in Niagara Falls for 3 days and on a couple of occasions (for a few hours both times) we went to Clifton Hill. There are restaurants and pubs here but predominantly it is focussed on family friendly activities and as we were 3 adults travelling together, apart from the former places I mentioned, there wasn't a lot for...

We stayed right on Clifton Hill and got one of the available Fun passes. We can't wait to go back and get the pass to do all the fun things on the other side of the street. It's our second time going up there and doing this. I highly recommend this as a quick fun getaway.
Clifton Hills has a little bit of everything for the kids. Although I thought some of the attractions and things to do were a bit repetitive, Clifton Hill kept us entertained over a course of three days.
Clifton Hill is really cheesy unless you are a kid...and not a kid at heart either. It's just way too tacky and takes away from the beauty of the Niagara Parks area.
My kids love it here and we do overnights. The family fun passes allow a nice assortment of activities. Plenty to do...
Loud, bright, tons of activities, heaps of restaurants and street vendors. Souvenirs abound, Haunted houses, Ripleys believe it or not, Dinosaur Crazy Golf, Rainbow Cafe Restaurant, Amusement Arcades. There is a great carnival atmosphere at Clifton Hill. The area is serviced by the tourist WEGO bus service so easily accessed from all around Niagara.
This is also the location of...

There is a lot to do, but it was extremely touristy. The restaurants are nothing special - chains like Hard Rock that have overpriced, mediocre food at best. This would be an area that might be better suited for families, teenagers, or young adults. Although, I can imagine that it would become very pricy very quickly after visiting several attractions.
My husband and I stayed in Niagara Falls, Ontario for our honeymoon and we spent an afternoon here. As with everywhere in this area, everything was quite expensive compared to the States. However, the strip was entertaining (and super touristy) in that it had much to offer--shops, food and attractions. We found parking right on the strip next to the...
